Let’s say you’re not very lucky. And as a result of your poor fortune, you’ve not acquired your own Lucky Pokémon. Well, good news! Niantic has announced a new special occasion for those still wanting a Lucky one.

According to a press statement by developer Niantic, if you trade a Pokémon that has spent time in a Trainer’s Pokémon storage since July 2016 to August 2016, it is guaranteed to become a Lucky Pokémon.

Lucky Pokémon work on a time-based system. The longer a Pokémon sits in a player’s storage, the more likely it is to become lucky when traded. Lucky Pokémon will be more powerful than their standard counterparts. They will also require less stardust to level up.

The guaranteed lucky Pokémon will only work for trainers who have not accumulated a total of 10 lucky Pokémon already.

So if you’re looking to make that lucky team from your long-time team, now’s your chance.
