The official 2017 Pokemon World Championships start in August, from the 18th-20th. There will be a combined prize pool of over $500,000 and all the best Pokemon players from all around the world will be competing in this invite-only tournament. Players will be battling for their chance of the prize pool, and for the title of the Pokken Tournament World Champion.

The tournament will be taking place in Anaheim, California, and spectators can pay to watch all the action live on-site for the full three day weekend. Like most tournaments, you can watch all the action on Twitch, or on the official Pokemon Tournament website, whichever suits your fancy.
