Playing Pokemon GO while on the road is a sensitive matter. It shouldn’t be, but it is. It should be simple. Don’t play Pokemon GO from the driver seat. When you and your friends are taking to the streets, the designated driver has the right to demand that the shotgun passenger catches Pokemon and stops while the car is in motion. Of course, not everyone is so safety conscious. Below is a video where a police helicopter follows a car driving erratically while supposedly playing Pokemon GO.
The footage shows the vehicle in question make several awkward stops and make liberal use of the road’s lanes. Given, it was past 3 am when this happened, so the roads are nearly deserted. That’s not an excuse, but one of those, “well at least that” kind of things. Police reported gave the driver a “stern warning” and sent the gamer along. Whether or not this behavior was worth a police helicopter is debatable. Regardless, please remember to play responsibly.
