It’s the spooky season! And to celebrate this, Pokémon GO is hosting their own Halloween event, complete with a Pikachu dressed up as their biggest fan, Mimikyu.

This event will feature a variety of ghostly, frightening, and otherwise ominous Pokémon. And to lead the pack is Darkrai! Here are the details.

Start Date: October 17, 2019
End Date: November 1, 2019

During the event, an influx of shadow Pokémon under Team Rocket’s effects will appear at PokéStops. A variety of spooky clothing options will appear in the Style Shop, and there’s an increased chance of a Shiny Yamask appearing in the wild. Not to mention the various themed research tasks that will appear.

It doesn’t stop there, though. During the event, more Ghost and Dark type Pokémon will appear in the wild. And the rest will be wearing cute costumes based on other Pokémon.

• Charmander will be wearing a Cubone costume
• Bulbasaur will be wearing a Shedinja costume
• Squirtle will be wearing a Yamask costume
• Pikachu will be wearing a Mimikyu costume

Everyone will already be walking around, collecting candy this Halloween. Why not add Pokémon candy to that list?
