It seems that Niantic is aware that players were unhappy with the recent restrictions set on the gift giving system within Pokemon Go. They have announced that players can not carry twice as many gifts in their bag. And while it’s a very mild change, it’s still an improvement.

The announcement wasn’t made through regular outlets for the company, but through the Niantic Support Twitter account.

“Trainers, show your Friends some love! You can now carry up to 10 Gifts in your Bag, so don’t forget to spin the Photo Discs at nearby PokéStops and Gyms.”

Only being able to hold five gifts at a time was a fairly limiting restriction, while 10 is certainly more manageable. This doesn’t help ease the pain of how little the gifts give compared to before, but at least I don’t need to fret so hard about pawning off every gift I find now.
