They found evidence pointing to an upcoming trading system. Here’s everything speculated about the upcoming changes.

• Players will be able to search for players interested in trading.
• They can make, cancel, and finale trade offers.
• They will not be able to trade items.
• Trading will come before battling.

It is unsure whether or not you need to be close to others in order to trade. However, considering everything else about the game, it’s very likely. It’s also interesting to note that it appears players can trade with anyone nearby. Perhaps that means the system works more like a World of Warcraft auction house. There’s no way to tell for sure until it launches.
