Pokemon Go was quite a controversial game when it initially released. Hordes of people walked the streets like zombies at all hours of the day, staring at their phone, roasting in the sun to catch virtual monsters. People who didn’t understand the concept of the game thought it was the start of the de-evolution of human kind, and after people starting getting arrested, shot, and even killed while playing the game, they started to seem right. It seemed like there wasn’t any part of society that wasn’t playing Pokemon Go.
Well, one year later and the world hasn’t ended because of Pokemon Go, but looking back on how many millions of people were completely consumed with Pokemon Go in all corners of the world, it’s pretty mindblowing. It’s still pretty popular, but not nearly as much as it was the first month after it released.
This video by Filthy Frank is a perfect representation of the concerns regarding Pokemon Go, and it’s a hilarious flashback to the chaos that surrounded the game after it launched.
