When you want something big, tough, and hard to take down, there’s no better choice than Snorlax. Whether you’re in the market for one, or just need more candy, now is the perfect time to take action, Snorlax can now be encountered in Research Breakthroughs from now until the end of the month.

The limited time even was teased on the official Pokémon GO Twitter account, posting images of various men taking a nap with a Snorlax nearby. It wasn’t until February 1 that the revealed the details, if you can call it that.

“Trainers, it’s no time to snooze! You can now encounter Snorlax in Research Breakthroughs until the end of February!”

Unfortunately, that’s all they tell us. And as such, that’s all we know. The event hasn’t been expanded on past this, on the website or otherwise. This won’t stop us from going out and getting some sweet Snorlax candy, though.
