Pokemon Go Players are Starting to Like Spoofers

It seems as though the public opinion of spoofers have changed. For those of you that don’t know what a spoofer is, it’s basically a player who fakes their GPS location to move all over the world without leaving their couch. Weeks ago, these players were hated. Niantic wanted them all gone, the players just thought they were a bunch of cheaters, but now people are starting to come around again. Why’s that, you might ask. It’s simply because of the new Raid Battles and Legendaries.

If there’s a Legendary right in front of you, you want to catch it. What if nobody else is around? You don’t have the firepower to take it down all on your own. This is where a spoofer comes in. You suddenly get raided by spoofers from all around the world and they actually help you take down the Legendary. It’s like calling in air support for a really tough enemy.

They get a chance at the Legendary too, which kind of sucks because they put in zero effort, but hey, at least you get your shot! If it wasn’t for them, you would be standing in the park wondering what to do. While I still don’t agree with cheating, I totally understand why love is being thrown at the spoofers. Maybe they aren’t such bad people after all.
