Need More Players?

Niantic has removed codes pointing at the promise trading feature. This comes as no surprise, Pokemon Go has recently been adding updates and making serious changes in an effort to get more players. For a while there, the game was just enough to keep people busy for a while, but then it got bland. It wasn’t until events and updates began to surface that players regained interest.

What Does This Mean For Trading?

The most recent change has removed the remnants of the old trading beta code, but Niantic has revealed that there will be plenty of additions soon enough. According to Pokemon Go Hub, the codes weren’t used from the APK. This doesn’t necessarily mean that trading is removed, nor does it mean that it will make a return. At this point, it’s really just Niantic making changes, prioritizing and updating the needed materials to get more players interested in Pokemon Go.
