I hope you all got plenty of Charmanders, Squirtles, and Bulbasaurs. Recently, their spawn rates were crazy high in Pokemon GO. In arguably the biggest event the game has had to date, the original Kanto starters were easier to catch than ever before. The bad news is that the event is already over. So if you didn’t get a chance to catch Pokemon recently, you have unfortunately missed your chance.

For the rest of us, congratulations! You’ve been part of a pretty big development. Since Pokemon GO added in IV scores for all of the Pokemon, it was originally going to be pretty tough to catch the best Charmander, Squirtle, or Bulbasaur possible. This event made it as easy as it could ever be.

If you haven’t already done so, be sure to have your trainer appraise all of your new Pokemon before sending them to the Professor for extra candy. You never know when you’ll stumble upon the absolute best out there.
