The legend of earth, Groudon, have made its way into Pokemon GO.

Niantic recently announced on their blog that the legendary Pokemon of the 3rd generation can now be caught in Raid battles worldwide.

Don’t worry about the time constraint, You will be able to try and capture Groudon until January 15 of next year. That gives you an entire month to try and lock down this Ground Type tyrant.

This is little surprise to us. When Niantic announced the implementation of 3rd gen Pokemon to the game, Groudon is seen in the trailer. This does lead us to ask when the watery counterpart, Kyogre, will make its own appearance.

Fortunately, this promotion is done through standard Raid Battles. Had it been EX Raids, you would have needed a premium invitation to even try. This way everyone will have their chance to get their own earth monster.
