Playing Pokemon Go can take people to various locations. Most people tend to walk around public parks, lakes, city streets or malls, but sometimes, you have to go above and beyond to catch specific Pokemon. Going out at night to catch ghost Pokemon is a common practice, and although Cemetary’s might seem like a pretty odd place to catch Pokemon, some people are just more determined that others.
Recently, a couple went hunting for Pokemon in a historic Kansas cemetery, most likely looking for Ghost types, but instead, they ended up dishing out some civilian justice. Tim Johnston and his fiancee were having a regular night of Pokemon hunting until Tim received a push notification on his phone from the WIBW TV station. The notification notified civilians about two aggravated robbery suspects on the loose, both of which were presumed to be armed and dangerous.
Literally, within 5 minutes of receiving the notification, Tim and his fiancee spotted the suspects and called the police. The police came swooping in within minutes, arresting both Tamarya Brooks (32) and Ryan E. Bettcher (31). Who would have thought that playing Pokemon Go could actually turn into helping society? Not only can you lose some weight, but you can potentially also solve a crime on the side.
