We’re all well aware that some Pokemon are relatively useless, and on top of that, some movements that they naturally have, basically do nothing. Magikarp being a prime example. Magikarp is obviously completely useless in battle, but even so, his main move is splash? Seriously, as if he wasn’t useless enough, his main ability is to splash around and literally achieve nothing.

Then there are the incredibly weird and useless abilities. Like attract for instance. This move basically attempts to seduce other Pokemon. I’m sure they could just hit each other, but somehow, seduction is a relevant combat strategy.
