It’s been a good time enjoying all of the essentially free bundle that Niantic has been pushing out. But all good things have to end eventually. And that time is about to be here. The final “1 PokéCoin bundle” has released. And once it’s over, they’re gone.
From now until May 18, 2020, there will be one final bundle available in the 1 Pokémon GO item store. It’s a bundle containing 1 remote raid pass, 20 Poké Balls, 10 Great Balls, and 5 Ultra Balls. Like those that came before it, the bundle will cost a single PokéCoin.
To help see the event off, Niantic is implementing a number of small gameplay changes for the duration of the event. Gifts will reward more Poké Balls, you get a daily bonus Field Research Task without having to spin a PokéStop, and the distance to spin a PokéStop has been doubled. Most interestingly, however, is that buddies can now bring you gifts from PokéStops, allowing you to collect them from home and send to friends that might need more supplies.
We appreciate Niantic’s changes over the last few months. With the pandemic going on, going out and about is proving difficult for many, many players. Temporary changes like these really help make the process easier for folks stuck at home.
